The Trust currently operates a range of prices ranging from £1.50 for up to one hour to £6.00 for four hours or over. The  charging scheme was introduced to allow more flexibility in the time periods for which charges apply. The charging periods and costs are:

  • Up to 30 minutes drop off  Free
  • Up to 1 hour      £1.70 (at Wrightington and TLC only)
  • Up to 2 hours    £2.70
  • 2 to 4 hours       £5.00
  • Over 4 hours     £6.50

We understand that some patients have to attend hospital regularly, and this can be costly. In line with our value of ‘Patients First’, we have developed a number of sympathetic concessions. These include:

  • Any oncology patient who attends for frequent regular treatment
  • Any patients attending clinics for a minimum of one day a week for an extensive period
  • Visitors of patients hospitalised for more than 2 weeks (14 days), will be offered free parking for the remainder of the patient’s stay from day 15 onwards

Patients attending our Cancer Care Centre now also benefit from dedicated parking spaces.
